What We Do
Creating a lifelong relationship with the natural world starts with effective place-based learning opportunities. This fosters environmental connections, stewardship, eventually cultivating healthy communities.
Environmental Education helps us develop an awareness and appreciation of biodiversity and allows us to understand and develop solutions to environmental concerns and issues.
Impact of Environmental Education
Gets students involved outdoors and active with hands-on, real-world learning within the context of their local community.
Cultivates leadership while emphasizing cooperative learning with others, critical thinking and discussion, and a focus on actionable strategies with real-world applications.
Builds knowledge and skills in students that allows them to address complex environmental issues, as well as take action to keep our natural world healthy.
Teaches that everything in the global ecosystem is connected.
