“I always wanted to be an artist, but I never followed through until lately” ~ Sir Anthony Hopkins
An impulse to create ignites a passion deep within this Vancouver-based artist, Fran Alexander. By recently reacquainting herself with acrylic painting, she has reinvigorated her inner muse. Long walks through the breathtaking gardens of VanDusen fuel her passion. Absorbing realistic details from nature, she captures snapshots of botanical life in each painting. The fragile seasonal beauty of each flower is as unique as a fingerprint. Magnificent blooms and sprays of colour dance from petal to petal. Fran has recently been awarded Active Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists. Please enjoy her floral, nest, and still life paintings. For more information: http://www.franalexander.com/
