Holiday Gift Certificates

When the weight of the world is getting too much, the Garden Respite Fund provides people in our community a year of Garden membership, sharing this calming oasis where they can begin their healing journey. By giving this gift to a loved one, you ensure someone in need is able to access restorative time in nature – what better gift to give this holiday season.

Gift Certificate Options:

Our Adopt-a-Tree program allows your loved one to forge a unique connection to nature. With a donation of $3,000, you can adopt a tree in VanDusen Botanical Garden for 10 years. Adoption includes a golden adoption plaque and official adoption certificate. This donation goes beyond just caring for your special tree – it helps us protect and conserve the beauty of the entire Gardens, preserving biodiversity for future generations.  

Option #1 – Choose a tree: You can pre-select a tree for your loved one, meaning the gift certificate will include the name of the tree. The final adoption form will be sent along with the certificate, as well as photos of the tree. Tree options are viewable here: Adopt-a-Tree Viewbook 

Option #2 – Valid for 1 tree: You make the donation, but leave it up to your loved one to select their tree. We will send our Adopt-a-Tree Viewbook along with the certificate, and can arrange a tour to choose the tree after the holidays.
