The Plant Sale
Following more than 40 years on the Great Lawn, the Plant Sale returns at a smaller scale to the Floral Hall with select thematic collections of temperate trees, shrubs, perennials, and food plants from around the world.
Prior to The Plant Sale, a special Botanical Odyssey Collection of rare and uncommon Asiatic plants is for sale online. To obtain these plants for your garden, order now!
The Plant Sale connects people with plants produced by nursery industry partners and educates people on how to grow them. Through this event, the public has contributed $1.85 million to the Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association.

Admission:
Entrance is free, however membership or a ticket is required to enter the Garden.
Botanical Odyssey Collection: Orders
The Plant Sale will be the last opportunity to purchase uncommon and rare Asiatic plants from Piroche Plants which is closing its nursery. These plants are found in the collections at VanDusen and other botanical gardens and arboretums within and outside Canada.
How To Order:
- Email a list of the plants and numbers of each you want to buy: plantsaleexecutive@vandusen.org
- An invoice will be emailed to you for payment by e-transfer.
- Pick up your plants at the Plant Sale on Saturday, April 25.
Stock is limited so order now to ensure you find the plants you want. Orders and Payments must be received by Monday, April 20, 2026.
