VanDusen Botanical Garden 50th Celebration

On Saturday, August 30, 2025 the Garden came alive with entertainment, activities, crafts, delicious local food, and community connections that honoured our roots while looking ahead to a blooming future. Visitors strolled through 55 acres of vibrant plant collections, joined historic tours led by our dedicated Garden Guides, and explored hands-on educational and art programming for all ages. From learning with local horticultural societies in the Visitor Centre halls to enjoying live performances on the Great Lawn, it was a day filled with inspiration, connection, and nature’s beauty.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, Garden members, donors, staff, and community partners. Thank you for helping VanDusen bloom for 50 years, and for growing with us into the future.
