VanDusen Guides invite visitors to explore and learn more about the Garden and the amazing world of plants. By offering dynamic guided tours and acting as information resources, Guides help visitors connect with VanDusen’s beautiful 55-acre garden. Read the full position description>>
- Interested individuals need to be available on an ongoing basis on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. In addition, training will take place over 8 full day training sessions on Saturdays between April 7 – June 2 (excluding May 19).
- Please email Diane, Volunteer Coordinator at volunteersupport@vandusen.org. Please include in your email your confirmed availability both for an ongoing role and also for training. Please also tell us about your skills, experience at the Garden and why you are interested in this role. We will follow up with a phone call to further explore the role.
Visitor Services Volunteers act as hosts and ambassadors of the Gardens through welcoming visitors, promoting memberships and Garden activities, as well as answering questions related to the garden and tourism. We are currently recruiting for Saturday and Sunday. Read the full position description>>
