Join us on April 25 & 26 for complimentary refreshments, a special chance to share both VanDusen Garden and Bloedel Conservatory with a friend for free, and a member-exclusive after hours at VanDusen from 5 pm – 6 pm! No pre-booking required.

Bring a Friend for FREE | All day | VanDusen & Bloedel
Experience VanDusen and Bloedel together! Each member can invite one guest to join them at either, or both sites, free of charge. Check in at the admission desks, no pre-booking required.
Member-exclusive after hours at VanDusen Botanical Garden | 5 pm – 6 pm!
Enjoy a member-exclusive after hours from 5–6 pm for a private, tranquil experience of the Garden after they close to the general public.
Bring a Friend Promotion – 10% off New Memberships
If your guest purchases a new membership or is renewing a membership that has been inactive for 6 months or more, they’ll receive 10% off their purchase that day!
The Plant Sale | 10 am – 3 pm | Floral Hall at VanDusen
Following more than 40 years on the Great Lawn, the Plant Sale returns at a smaller scale to the Floral Hall zone with select thematic collections of Temperate Trees, Shrubs, Perennials, and Food Plants from around the world. Learn more!
Free guided tours daily: Between 1-4pm led by our Volunteer Garden Guides.
Details
- Must be an active member – just bring your valid membership card to participate in Member Appreciation activities.
- Limit one free guest per member per day for “Bring a Friend for Free Day.”
- Bring a Friend Promotion – 10% off New Memberships: member’s guest must purchase their membership on site at either VanDusen or Bloedel on the day of their visit (April 25-26).
- Those with a premium membership are permitted to bring their daily guest on their membership, plus one free friend
- Activities are subject to weather and may cancel without notice.
