Summer Solstice Medicine Wheel Ceremony
June 23, 12.00pm – 3:00pm

People from varying backgrounds and spiritual traditions are invited to join elders Phil Mechuskosis L’Hirondelle and Gisele L’Hirondelle from ‘All My Relations Teachings’ to celebrate and usher in the summer season.

The Medicine Wheel is a symbol of holistic teachings based on the cycles of nature. Drumming and prayers are shared at this event.

No registration necessary. This ceremony will be held outdoors in the Canadian Heritage Garden near the maze.

What to bring:
• Your own chair or blanket to sit on
• A small stone(s) to infuse prayers into
• Clothing and supplies appropriate for the weather (including hat, sunglasses, water bottle etc.)
• Optional: Food to share with community at the end of the ceremony, and/or a drum if you have one
