From June 21 – 30, join us at VanDusen Botanical Garden for Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE – a fresh floral celebration of remarkable artists, created by some of Vancouver’s top floral talent.

Experience 25 one-of-a-kind fresh floral art-themed installations inspired by accomplished artists throughout history and Vancouver’s vibrant art scene. Watch floral demonstrations, learn gardening tips and enjoy botanical-inspired culinary talks every 90 minutes in the Jardin Tent. See schedule here. On weekends, shop for blooms to take home from local florists at the fresh floral market. Don’t forget to vote on your favourite floral mannequin!

Savour tasty bites, hot beverages and cocktails from Aperitivo!, an Italian-inspired mobile bar and café while you’re at the event.

This outdoor event takes place along the stunning Autumn Stroll at VanDusen Botanical Garden.

*A special event ticket is required for entry. Discounted rates are available for those with valid VBGA memberships.

    • Tickets are sold online and visitors are encouraged to book in advance
    • All tickets are non-refundable.
    • Tickets must be presented on a mobile device or printed out for scanning upon entry.

    Additional Ticket Details:

    • Coupons, discount offers, and admission vouchers or passes are not valid for special events, including Fleur de Villes. These include the Tourism Challenge Privilege Pass, Park Board complimentary and gift passes, Vancouver Inspiration Pass, Entertainment Book coupons, Viator vouchers, and VanPass vouchers.
    • A Vancouver Botanical Garden Association (VBGA) member rate is available online only for those with valid memberships. Members must present their valid membership at the point of entry. Those without valid memberships cannot book tickets at this rate.
    • Required attendants of those needing assistance at the event are offered free access. You do not need to purchase a ticket for them. You may purchase your own ticket online, and let our staff members know your attendant is accompanying you when you present your ticket for scanning.

    Experience a fresh floral trail of 25 one-of-a-kind art-themed installations inspired by accomplished artists throughout history and Vancouver’s vibrant art scene.

    • Cast your vote on your favourite mannequin for a chance to win flower delivered to your home weekly for a month.
    • Visit the pop-up Flower Market on Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Visit the Jardin Tent with programming scheduled every 90 minutes. Attend a floral demonstration, learn gardening tips or sit in on a botanical-inspired culinary talk.
    • Aperitivo!, an Italian-inspired mobile bar and café, will be on site during event hours. Enjoy hot and cold beverages, tasty bites and cocktails.
    • Wander through the Children’s Discovery Trail with a Paint by Numbers theme.
    • Browse the VanDusen gift shop and check out Fleurs de Villes merchandise.
    • Explore 55 acres of the Garden after your visit to Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE.

  • +Washrooms, parking, and more

    Washrooms

    Portable toilets will be available for use within the garden. Full-service washrooms are located in the Visitor Centre.

    Parking

    Parking can get quite busy, so we recommend taking public transit, walking, or biking. We’re located on the #17 Oak bus route and a 15-minute walk from the Oakridge Canada Line station.

    Parking is free in our lot off West 37th Avenue but spaces are limited. Free street parking is also available in the surrounding area (where street signs permit).

    Weather

    Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes as the event is outdoors in the garden. Rain or shine the show will go on. In cases of extraordinary weather conditions, please check our social media channels for updates. All attendees would be contacted directly should the event be cancelled.     Pets

    Working guide and service dogs are welcome. Leave pets at home.

    Other Considerations

    No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted in the garden.

    Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are not permitted in the garden.

    Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. Regular garden rules apply. See Code of Conduct for details.

    Facility and garden access

    The Visitor Centre, Administration Building, Floral Hall, Shaughnessy Restaurant, and most paved garden paths are fully accessible to wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers.

    Touring the garden

    Many of the pathways, both paved and unpaved, can be uneven. Care should be taken for those using walking aids. Some steps do not have handrails or handrails on both sides. There are no wheelchairs available for borrow.

    Service animals

    Working guide and service dogs are welcome. Leave pets at home.

    Accessible toilets

    Accessible washrooms are located in the Visitor Centre. All portable toilets are fully accessible for those in a wheelchair.

    Parking

    The VanDusen Botanical Garden parking lot is located on West 37th Ave, just off of Oak St. A few accessible parking spots are available and parking is free. There is an accessible drop-off loop just off of Oak St at the front entrance of the garden.

    Admission and attendants

    Individuals requiring assistance are provided with complimentary access for their attendants. Attendants do not need to pre-purchase tickets. Those in need of an attendant should book a ticket and, upon arrival, inform VanDusen staff about the attendant’s presence. The attendant will then be granted free access.

    Sensory

    At times, there may be crowds of people in the Visitor Centre and the Garden which could affect neurodiverse guests.

    Financial accessibility

    Guests who require assistance are provided with free access for their attendants to facilitate their visit. Event tickets are sold online, but staff can accommodate requests for those who may need to pay with a debit card or cash.
